In short
Track Me stores your daily targets, habits, tasks and notes. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
The app collects data only for your own account, and only to make the service work.
What is collected
- Account: your e-mail address and a cryptographic hash of your password. If you sign in with Google or Apple, the identifier and e-mail that service provides.
- Profile: your name, and a photo and date of birth if you add them.
- App content: targets, habits, tasks, dates and their completion history.
- Notes: the text is encrypted on your device and reaches the server only in encrypted form.
- Settings: language, theme, time zone and notification preferences.
What is not collected
No location, contacts, calendar, microphone or camera recordings. No advertising identifiers. No third-party analytics or tracking software is included.
Note encryption
Notes are encrypted on the device with AES-256-GCM. The encryption key is protected by a PIN you choose. The server stores only the ciphertext and cannot read it.
If you forget the PIN, the notes cannot be recovered. That is by design.
Where data is stored
Data is stored on a server operated on behalf of Track Me. Traffic is protected with HTTPS. Passwords are never stored in plain text.
Who it is shared with
We do not sell or share your data with third parties. The only external services used are the ones the app needs to work: Google and Apple for sign-in, and a mail service for verification codes.
How long it is kept
Data is kept for as long as your account exists. Deleting your account from inside the app removes the account and everything belonging to it from the server and from your device. This cannot be undone.
Your rights
- View and change your data inside the app.
- Delete your account at any time from inside the app.
- Contact us with any question.
Children
The app is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated date will be shown on this page.
